The southern shore of Hood Canal has several towns and attractions.

 

 

You can make a loop from Harstine Island by heading toward the town of Union on the east, driving west along the water until you get to the town of Belfair on Route 3,  where you drive  south back to Harstine Island. 

 

When you get to Union, you also can drive up the northwest "leg" of Hood Canal to Hoodsport and Lilliwaup. 

 

And don't miss a stop at the Alderbrook Resort, near Union.
