Disaster Preparation Training
November 6 Disaster Preparation Training Day
 
With the arrival of fall, our community’s disaster preparedness committee began our monthly disaster drill trainings. The topic of today’s training was water treatment for drinking water and wound care.
 
The training was led by committee co-chair, Jim States, who shared a wide variety of methods for purifying water for drinking and wound care in the event of a disaster (e.g., earthquake).
 
Training attendees also brought and shared some of the equipment and approaches they use.
